Easthaven

[T-Bone]

OOC: Rather than build out a whole town for what would likely amount to one session, I'll be running the small village of Easthaven as a PBP. If you need to buy any supplies, just ask./OOC


As the sun begins its descent into the west on your third day out from Bryn Shander, you enter the small fishing village of Easthaven. A single road interesects at the end of The Fastway in a "T" that runs through the town. Modest wooden houses line this road on either side.
On the west end of the road stands a dilapidated Temple of Tempus, some parts of which appear to have been rebuilt, while other parts are sliding into disrepair.

Beyond the row of houses on the south side of the road sits a large lake - Lac Dinneshere - though not nearly as large as Maer Dualdon. You see three small fishing boats returning to the makeshift docks as the Knucklehead Trout fishermen return with the day's catch. At the end of the docks is a large log building with a bone-carved sign out front that reads "Apsel - Scrimshander."

On the east end of the road there are four buildings that stand out from the others. The closest to The Fastway is an old home that doesn't appear to be inhabited. In front is a wood carved sign that reads "Home of Hrothgar." Two buildings down from Hrothgar's house is the Winter's Cradle Tavern. Next to that is a large log cabin style building with a sign out front that reads "Gallaway Trade Depot." Finally, at the end of the row just before a small wooden bridge that crosses a wide stream feeding into Lac Dinneshere connecting the road through Easthaven with the road that runs along the lake to Caer Konig and Caer Dinival, stands the Snowdrift Inn.

There are quite a few people milling around, going about their end of day business. They are hardy-looking folk for the most part. A few look up at your arrival, but do not seem overly surprised or concerned by your presence here.
